Payments

Aligata website uses PayPal as a payment method. It is well known and secure.

You can pay with:

1. PayPal account (if you have one),
2. Credit Card (if you do not have a PP account and you do not intend to register one). There is a link on the PP payment form that leads directly to CC details form.

Shipping

1. All orders are shipped from Poland with FedEx.
2. Shipping cost to the US, EU and Canada is $19.90 (FedEx International Economy).
3. Usually I have a few units of every product (except those marked as pre-ordered) in stock.
4. Products marked "handmade by request" are not available in stock. They have to be made first, then shipped to the Buyer. The whole process may take up to 2 weeks, but usually (median!) a week.
5. If I do not have the ordered item in the inventory, I always contact the Buyer and offer several options to choose from (waiting for the item to reach the US inventory or shipping directly with FedEx or cancelling the order and full refund).

Delivery time

1. If I have the ordered item in stock, I ship it within 3 business days. Then FedEx delivers it usually within 3 to 5 business days.
2. If I do not have the requested item in stock, I contact the Buyer and offer several options to choose (cancel the order and refund or wait for the item to appear in stock).

Taxes, customs duties

1. When shipping to the US, Australia, Japan there is no VAT tax nor any customs duties (for orders below $250).
2. When shipping to EU countries, the VAT tax is included in the product price (so no additional VAT is charged).
3. When shipping to Canada, Norway, India (maybe some other countries too, but I do not know it exactly) there is no VAT tax added at checkout, but there are customs duties charged by FedEx after they deliver the parcel to you.

Returns Policy

You may return new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full product price refund. 

Please note, that:

1. Shipping fees,
2. Customs duties,
3. Products with custom stitching colors,
4. Products customized in any other way (initials embossed etc.).

are not subject to refund.

If you want to return Aligata product, please follow the simple procedure:

1. E-mail me at tom@aligata.com and notify about your will to return.
2. Put the item into well packed, stiff cardboard box with some filler inside, so that the product does not shift in the parcel.
3. Make a clear notice on the box and in the shipment documents, that this parcel is a return of some previously purchased item.
4. Ship the parcel with some insured carrier (USPS is Ok). Use the address at the top of this page for shipping.
5. E-mail me once you ship it. I will make a refund to your PayPal account then.
